Whitney R. Harris World Law Institute, Washington University in St. Louis

The Whitney R. Harris World Law Institute of Washington University School of Law concluded a Co-Operation Agreement with the International Criminal Court in 2009. Under the Co-Operation Agreement, the Harris Institute is responsible for collecting documents for the "National cases involving core international crimes" tools of some African states.

The "National cases involving core international crimes" tool compiles the most relevant decisions issued by domestic courts and tribunals concerning genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. The Harris Institute is responsible for collecting the most relevant decisions issued by domestic courts and tribunals concerning genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes, and for providing summaries and/or analyses of each decision included in the tool for the following states:

Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Cote d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritius, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Seychelles, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, and Zambia.
