The Department for Foreign and International Criminal Law of the Institute for Criminal Law and Criminal Justice of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen concluded a Co-Operation Agreement with the ICC in February 2010. Under this Agreement, the Department has undertaken to assist with the updating and developing of the Elements of Crimes' Digest of the Legal Tools Project. According to an understanding attached to the agreement the Department will in the next two years update the four parts of the Digest (modes of liability, Genocide, Crimes against Humanity, War Crimes) with regard to the judgments of the International Criminal Tribunals.
